The Carpenter Behind the Work
I started swinging a hammer before I finished school. What began as weekend work with my old man turned into a trade certificate, then an apprenticeship, then fifteen-odd years of building things for people who care about their homes.
I'm based in Wickham and I work across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. I'm not a project manager who sends subcontractors to your door — I'm the one on your site, doing the work, making sure it's right.
I started Josh's Carpentry because I got tired of hearing the same story from homeowners: tradies who don't call back, quotes that blow out, and jobs that drag on for weeks longer than promised. I figured if I just did the opposite of all that, I'd be alright. Turns out, I was.
